Popular with water skiers and fishermen, this is a beautiful campground on the banks of Stanley River just below the Somerset Dam.
There is a kiosk on site for supplying the basics.
Showers are free (5 minute timed).
There is s childrens playground in the day use area and a boat ramp at the Spit about 2km away.
Generators are not permitted at this site.
There is no dump point.

*The price structure is subject to change. Fee applies for 1-2 people per night. Children under 4 years stay for free. Maximum of 6 people per site. Extra guests are charged $10 per person, per night.

Bookings can be made up to 12 months in advance. Payment by credit card is available or cash facilities. Arrival time is between 2pm and dark. Check out by 10am on the day of departure.
Camping fees are not refundable for cancellations or changes with less than seven days notice, or for inclement weather. Where at least seven days notice is given, refund will be provided less an administration fee of $25 or booking for an alternate date can be made subject to availability.

This site is accessable by caravans in good weather.
Just off the Esk-Kilcoy Road on the south western side of the dam.
