A great little campsite right on the edge of the cliffs of Isla Gorge.

There are well kept amenities here, with covered picnic area, wood barbecues (bring your own fire wood), long drop toilets and water from the rain tank.

There are about 10 unmarked campsites, one overlooking the gorge itself. The ground is very rocky although a couple of spots are suitable for a tent if you don't mind playing Russian Roulette with the tent pegs.

There is a short walk that follows the ridgeline to a great lookout. Take care though as the edges of the cliffs are crumbly sandstone and the fall is quite steep.

There are no marked walking tracks in the park, so bushwalking is limited to experienced bushwalkers with map/compass/gps etc. It is a beautiful region however and well worth the effort of exploring on foot. Bush camping is also permitted in the park so overnight hiking is a great way to explore.
