Basic bush campground right on the banks of the MacQuarie River.
There are large open and well grassed campsites with the odd tree for a bit of shade. Access to the water is good for a kayak / canoe and this would make a great campsite for a kayak fishing trip. There is 4wd access across the river.

This campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.
Whyandra Campsite is located approximately 25km North West from Dubbo. Take the Burroway Dubbo Road West from the Newell Highway. Follow Burroway Road for about 13km and take a left into Rawsonville Road. When you get to a T-Intersection (Rawsonville Road will continue to the right) take a left into the dirt road and follow to the end.
