A great little spot, right on the banks of the MacQuarie River suitable for tent based camping (no caravans or motor homes allowed).
The campground is fairly basic, but gently sloping grass leads down to this beautiful stretch of water. There is easy access to the river itself for launching a kayak / canoe so would make a great base for kayak fishing trips. There are some deep holes that would be worth exploring with a lure.
There are no toilets or rubbish bins provided so you will have to take your waste out with you.
