Badja Reserve Campground

This Council managed and well maintained reserve on the junction of the Numeralla and Badja Rivers has large grassy areas and plenty of established trees for shade.
It is a pleasant spot for an overnight stop or as a base for exploring the region, including Wadbilliga National Park to the east. It is on the outskirts of the small town of Numeralla for restocking your supplies, and in Autumn the deciduous trees put on a show.
The campground consists of 2 portions, the high and the low, which are divided by Peak View Rd. The low is near the junction of the rivers. This portion is the larger comprising 75% of the area and 100% of the picnic tables and other features. HOWEVER it can easily be chained off as eluded to in the comments below. Big rigs are best suited to the high and tents to the low. Other vehicles can have their pick. The flushing toilets (1F.1M.0D) are located on the High side.
Any swimming / wading in either the creek or river will stir up the loose sediment resulting in the swimmer or wader departing the water somewhat covered in ... stuff.

Location information for Badja Reserve
This site is accessable by caravans in good weather.
About 600 metres from Numeralla off Countegany Road.
From Cooma (25km) take the Monaro Highway north for about 4km. Turn right onto Polo Flat Road and first left into Numeralla Road. Follow for another 20km through Numeralla to the campground (on your left).
