There are very large and separated campsites here that tend to get used for the odd enjoyable, loud gathering.

NSW state forest have even mention on their website that "This site is recommended to groups of campers who wish to have a good time without disturbing other campers and forest visitors."

There is a nice little picnic area (Dobbie Rim) nearby

There are some great swimming spots in the Allyn river nearby and plenty of grass and shade for pitching a tent or camper trailer

This campsite is in Chichester State Forest

There are two main sections to this State Forest, Allyn River is the western area of the park and contains a number of campgrounds. Telegherry River is Eastern side.
