Level, riverside, shady and grassy campground in Chichester State Forest.

There are long drop toilets, easy access to the river and the campsite is surrounded by native forest.

The creek here is a stony brook, however if there has been a little rain, there are some nice little swimming holes.

Location information for Currawong

This campsite is in Chichester State Forest

There are two main sections to this State Forest, Allyn River is the western area of the park and contains a number of campgrounds. Telegherry River is Eastern side.

There is a small causway to cross just after Telegherry campground, which may cause an issue for 2wd vehicles if the water level is high.
