Riverfront camping near Woodgate surrounded by nature reserve.

Caravan & Camping in Queensland has riverfront camping sites with nature reserve surroundings. It is located in Woodgate, next to Walkers Point with the boat ramp next door. At this stage there are self-contained (BYO) camping sites available with portable hot showers and toilets for guests to use. Unpowered sites with permanent amenities and a camp kitchen is under development with powered sites coming soon. You can enjoy the glistening water of the Burrum River as you fish or swim or just laze on the sandy river shore. For some water sports adventure, launch your boat or Jet Ski from the nearby jetty at Walker's Point or discover all that nature has to offer with breathtaking hiking trails following the river's bend or through Burrum Coast National Park.

Set up camp amongst the abundant tree life with ample space to choose from. Enjoy the uninterrupted starry night sky and forget about your worries as you take in the serenity of the waves washing ashore and serenading crickets. Rediscover the wonder of waking up with birdsong and the tranquillity of nature.

The campground is an Australian owned family site with grand plans for further development and facilities.

Access

4wd only access.

Getting there

Access road is dirt and sand but can be accessed with 2WD in spots. Once you're on the campsite, 2WD is easy. Contact the campsite for more details as roads are currently being developed.

DIRECTIONS:

To get to Caravan & Camping in Queensland input 'Manley Smith Drive, Woodgate' into the GPS or simply follow Walker's Point Road past Woodgate for about 6 kms. Just before Walker's Point Road turns Manley Smith Drive you will see a road to your right which is the entry to Caravan & Camping in Queensland.
