Spacious water front campsites on the southern bank of Baffle Creek at Winfield suited to self contained camping.

Rocky Point Retreat is a family owned camp ground operated by Kati & Darren Rasmussen.

The waterfront camping area is a part of the 250-acre rural property "Rocky Point" which is located on the southern bank of Baffle Creek at Winfield 63km north of Bundaberg.

Our oversize waterfront camp sites are perfectly suited to self-contained caravans, RVs, camping trailers and tents or swags (we have a dump point on site for the convenience of our self-contained campers).

We have private ensuite amenities, portaloos and onsite vans for hire for those guests that do not have their own or prefer a bit of luxury camping.

The 16-acre camping area is level, grassed and has 370 meters of Baffle Creek frontage which comfortably accommodates 22 waterfront sites and there are 5 powered sites located 50 meters back from the waterfront.

We have a 40-meter non-camping buffer zone along the front boundary which allows all campers to enjoy the waterfront.

Each waterfront camp site has an average 17-meter frontage, has over 400 m2 in area and has access to clean bore water taps. Caravan/motor home clubs and large groups can easily be accommodated and sited together in any format.

Our rates are charged per person not per site (or the size of your rig) which makes it economical for those traveling alone or those who have large vans/motor homes that generally require 2 sites at other caravan parks.

Check-in is from 10.00am and check-out is 10.00am (check-out for hire facilities is 10.00am).

We have 5 & 20kg bags of ice, bait prawns and gas bottle swap & go (8.5 & 3.8kg) available at the office.
